Quite a few readers of Captain Bill's blog have said they couldn't post comments -- sorry about that! I've changed some settings on the blog so that everyone should now be able to post comments. This is important because ... drum roll ... Captain Bill is now finally reading his blog.
Hi, Dad!
After he started a few days ago he said, "Wow, I didn't even know some of this happened to me." Like, believe it or not, he wasn't clear on the fact that he had a second brain surgery. Scary. So I guess reading the blog helps him follow his own story.
But I mention the comment glitch above because he likes reading comments below blog entries. In the same vein, please consider being a follower of this blog by clicking "Follow" in the right-hand column. It's a painless procedure and allows Bill, now that he's reading this, to know you are there. Thanks to those of you who've already commented and followed Bill!
For Dad, there are many advantages of being in Madison. But of course he misses his home and friends. I hope this is one way we can keep him connected.

Hello Uncle Bill! We like to read about how you are doing so, I'm glad Lisa takes the time to do this. You don't seem so far away with this Blog. First, let me say that we love you & Becker Road looked boring last time we were in the area so I don't think you are missing much. On to "your" cat... Gary calls Elsa "Helga" for fun & the kids still love her. While chatting with my mom on the phone the other day I said "where's my cat"? & my mom said "Uh Oh...your cat?" I didnt realize that I think of her as one of us now. I will talk with you soon! Have a fun Fourth of July!*~ Love Becky
ReplyDeleteHi, Daddddddy!
ReplyDeleteI miss you! Can't wait to get back to Madison and see you. Charlotte misses you too. I have a picture of you in one of her books and I ask her "where's Grandpa?" and she points to your face!
Love you,
Heather (daughter #2)

Hey, your thoughts on 'why' were just what I needed today after reading Ally's blog. You continue to be an inspiration to me, your faith is amazing. And Bill, glad you are reading, you have such support and love coming to you. You've raised an amazing daughter who continues to impact my life in so many ways, least of which was the start of us, when she rescued me from my roommate troubles. I'm so thankful that you all are together with Heather sometimes too. I hate that you have to be a source of inspiration and strength for us, but you are, and you have our continued love, prayers and best wishes.
